University of Central Florida - Bright House Networks Stadium
The University of Central Florida (UCF) needed a state-of-the-art digital replay control room for its newly built Bright House Networks Stadium, and contracted Alpha Video’s Sports & Entertainment Group to help them reach their objectives. The stadium, which is the cornerstone of the University’s athletic program and the nation’s newest college football venue, is the home of the UCF Knights and the host of the 2007 Conference USA Championship Game. Alpha's Sports & Entertainment Group worked with the University for two years before construction of the new stadium began, and designed and installed the control room, valued at $700,000. University of Kansas - Allen Fieldhouse
The University of Kansas needed a digital control room to power the newly installed video boards at its Allen Fieldhouse - one of the most famous arenas in college basketball - on an extremely tight timeline. It called Alpha Video to facilitate the process, and successfully created a new digital control room for the University that met its production criteria, and redesigned the system to provide complete functionality and allow for easy expansion. Baylor University - Multiple Sporting Venues
Alpha Video was contracted by Baylor University to build video replay control rooms for newly installed video boards at the campus’s four largest sporting venues (Floyd Casey Stadium-Football, Ferrell Center Basketball/Volleyball, Baylor Ballpark-Baseball and Getterman Stadium-Softball) without compromising the system’s overall creative capabilities and flexibility. Working with Baylor, Alpha Video developed a multi-phase plan to equip all four control rooms on the university’s campus, and provided the system engineering as well as on-site integration. University of Iowa - Kinnick Stadium
As part of a $90 million dollar renovation to Kinnick Stadium, the University of Iowa’s historic 76-year old football stadium needed a new cutting edge control room to support its new HawkVision board. Working with the University, Alpha Video installed and integrated a technologically innovative control room with a digital production system that provides dazzling image quality and endless creative possibilities for the HawkVision staff. Sprint Center Arena - Kansas City, MO
Alpha Video’s Sports & Entertainment Group is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to provide and integrate the digital replay control room at the new Sprint Center Arena in Kansas City, MO. The arena, which will be the home of the AFL Kansas City Brigade, the Big XII Basketball Tournament, and a host of additional events, is scheduled to open in October of this year. More info...
