Magenta Multiview 250A
Magenta Research's MultiViewTM 250A Receiver delivers a performance driven entry into the realm of point-to-point distribution of high-resolution video and audio over Cat5. When paired with a MultiView Series Transmitter, the MultiView 250A delivers UXGA resolution (1600x1200) @ 250 feet (76 meters) @70Hz refresh rate. An external three-level EQ (equalization adjustment) is included, as is the ability to externally enable or disable audio.
Furthermore, an external dipswitch allows users to configure the video format used (RGBHV, component, composite, S-video and HDTV modes).
Magenta offers four distance tiers of its MultiView Series receivers: 250 feet (76 meters), 500 feet (152 meters), 1000 feet (305 meters) and 1500 feet (457 meters), all of which handle composite through high-resolution RGBHV video. The MultiView 250A Receiver handles the first tier. MultiView users can mix-and-match receivers as needed to adapt to the specific application layout.
The MultiView Series provides a "building block" approach to signal distribution over Cat5. MultiView 250A Receivers may be linked to a MultiView UTx Universal Transmitter, a PCI card transmitter or MultiView T4/T5 multiple output transmitters in order to cover any application. When utilizing cascaded transmitters, MultiView Cat5 distribution amps and MultiView full-matrix Cat5 switchers, signals can be distributed to hundreds of displays from one or multiple sources.
