University of Iowa - Kinnick Stadium - HawkVision
The Challenge: As part of a $90 million dollar renovation to Kinnick Stadium, the University of Iowa’s historic 76-year old football stadium was in need of replacing their analog control romm with a new cutting edge control room to support its new HawkVision board.
The Alpha Solution: Working with the client’s consultant, Chris Williams of Dallas, TX based Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams, Alpha Video installed and integrated a cutting edge and technologically innovative control room. The digital production system provides dazzling image quality and endless creative possibilities for the HawkVision staff.
The Results: Working on a very tight timeline Alpha Video delivered a control room that was not only a substantial improvement over the university’s aging analog control room, but also one that is helping to deliver game day content that is a hit with the university and its fans.
“The whole thing matched our expectations exactly. We were very impressed with Alpha Video and how everyone worked on the project in very adverse conditions. 100 degrees – shows work ethic.”
