Sprint Center Arena - Kansas City, MO
Alpha Video’s Sports & Entertainment Group, the leading national integrator and specialist for the sports and entertainment industry, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to provide and integrate the digital replay control room at the new Sprint Center Arena in Kansas City, MO.
The arena, which will be the home of the AFL Kansas City Brigade, the Big XII Basketball Tournament, and a host of additional events, is scheduled to open in October of this year. Construction on the state of the art control room, which was designed by Dallas-based consulting firm WJHW, will begin in July and be completed in September 2007.
“This project is very exciting for us to work on, as it’s a newly built building with the capabilities to handle a sizeable state-of-the-art audiovisual integration,” said Jeff Volk, Integration Specialist, Alpha Video’s Sports & Entertainment Group. “The control room will house the most current AV technology, and promises to be one of the leaders in the sports industry.”
