Alpha Video was contracted by the State of Minnesota to provide and install state-of-the-art technology in four senate meeting rooms, as well as in the main senate chambers. Alpha was also enlisted to completely move and reinstall the senate television services master control room, including Pro-Bel routing. Installation included the mounting of all camera and robotics, as well as running all of the cables through the 100-year old Minnesota State Capital. During this project, Alpha took enormous care to make sure it did not impact the aesthetics of the building, which was a stipulation in the contract with the State of Minnesota. Alpha easily overcame this challenge when installing the cables through the aging building, and also replaced the complete furniture set. In addition, a substantial amount of custom mill working was also provided in order to complete the project and exceed the expectations of the Minnesota Senate.
