Century College - White Bear Lake, MN
Century College, a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, offers over 60 areas of study and prides itself on utilizing the most advanced technology to transform education and offer inspired learning to its students. The school had an objective of enhancing its learning experience by implementing “classrooms of the future,” further allowing students to pursue excellence, and giving its educators the capability to achieve a more interactive learning environment.
Alpha Video was contracted by Century to provide electronic and state-of-the-art teaching tools in more than 15 of the school’s classrooms. In order to accomplish the technically advanced objectives of the college, Alpha integrated projectors, interactive whiteboards, and document and artifact cameras, all centrally controlled by a Crestron Control System with push-button functionality.
Now with the help of Alpha Video, the teachers at Century College can effectively educate their students in a 21st century classroom atmosphere with equipment that is innovative and allows for interactivity between educator and student. The students also have the ability to learn in new ways that expand their imaginations and broaden their learning capabilities.
