MN Air National Guard Upgrades Learning Environment

 

 

 

 

Alpha Video was contracted for over three years to provide and install a variety of classrooms and presentation centers at the MN Air National Guard Base.  All of these projects involve LCD projection (Proxima, NEC & Sanyo), Screens (Draper), various A/V equipment (JVC, Panasonic, Shure, Tannoy, TOA) and Control Systems (Crestron).

 

Flight Operations Command Center ($75,000)
Alpha installed 2 front projection units fed by a number of PCs via an Extron Matrix routing system. Acomplex multi-zone audio and sound reinforcement system were also installed, with the entire system being controlled via Crestron touchpanels.     

 

Medical Squadron Training Classrooms ($20,000)
Alpha Installed a Proxima (OFE) LCD projector projecting onto a motorized screen. A multi-zone audio and video system were installed to accommodate the divisible classroom space.

 

Supply Squadron Training Classroom ($13,000)
Alpha installed a Proxima LCD projector projecting onto a manual screen. Sources for the LCD included a permanent CPU, laptop, and VCR. The VCR would also serve to feed televisions hung in the classroom, and a sound reinforcement system would provide audio support for all sources.

 

Dining Hall Presentation Area ($65,000)
For the Dining Hall, Alpha installed a Sanyo projector projecting on a 12’ x 12’ motorized screen. Sources for the LCD included: a permanent CPU, 2 laptop inputs, VCR, DVD and Base CCTV.  A series of speakers were hung in the room and in adjoining areas for sound reinforcement in the large room, which seats around 250 people.
