Alpha Video Hosts P2 HD Road Tour Clinic

Minneapolis, MN, August 7, 2007– August 7th was an exciting day for anyone using P2 HD or considering P2 HD acquisition.  Alpha Video hosted a free, must-attend event at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel in Bloomington, MN.

 

Individuals who attended the event were able to enjoy an information-filled event, where they learned more about P2 HD's powerful benefits.  They were also afforded the opportunity to get hands-on and demo the newest P2 HD cameras, including : the AJ-HPX2000 shoulder-mount and AG-HPX500 shoulder-mount, the AJ-HPM100 mobile recorder, and the compact workhorse, the AG-HVX200.

 

Robert Lane, a P2 Specialist, talked about how IT-based nonlinear acquisition speeds up productions, how flexibility in compression rates and HD/SD formats allow you to shoot more jobs, and how solid state memory is the recording format for the future.

  • 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Everything you need to know about the advantages of P2 workflow, from acquisition to ingest (Presented by Robert Lane, P2 Specialist.)
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Lunch (provided)  
  • 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Project Examples & Equipment Demonstrations
