Alpha Video Slam Dunks 43 Hoops
Unique Basketball Training Facility Gets Video System
Minneapolis, MN, June 8, 2007 – Alpha Video, a leading professional video systems integrator, has announced the completion of a unique system integration at 43 Hoops, located in Hopkins, MN.
43 Hoops, a sports training facility, provides basketball, volleyball, soccer and life skills training to help adolescents improve themselves through sport, discipline, dedication and teamwork. Recently, it sought out the assistance of Alpha Video to provide a camera system for recording basketball games.
To begin the installation, Alpha created a stand-alone floor mounted rack located in the trainer’s offices. The cameras and microphones were mounted in the main court areas, recessed into the wall, and a protective covering was added to guard against flying objects. In order to capture the events the trainer’s wanted to observe, the camera system was placed at the corner of the courts. This placement allows for the most court to be viewed, and more importantly, allows for both goals to be visible.
Included in the installation were several Vaddio WallView 100 PTZ Camera Systems, multiple DVD recorders, two LCD monitors, several EV 635A Microphones, and more.
