Job Description:
The Digital Display Groups Creative Services team is seeking a highly skilled Motion Media Designer. This will be a key position that will play an important role in the growth of the department.
The Digital Display Group is a fast growing, high demand division of Alpha Video and Audio, Inc., a provider of high-end enterprise wide digital signage solutions.

Job Title: Trainer / Installer Department: Digital Display Group 05
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
Job Description:
This position is responsible for hardware assembly, operating system installation, and software integration for DDG computer on site installations. This position also functions as a backup technical support team member as needed, which includes helpdesk work, troubleshooting and repair of existing systems at local customer’s sites. This position requires 40-60% travel
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Technical Operations Supervisor, your specific duties will include:
- Able to install, maintain and support all current and past Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft IIS web servers running our web-based products and Scala InfoChannel products
- Work closely with our computer vendors, dispatch and work with on site technicians when problems arise, RMA parts for computer repairs.
- Work closely with the DDG team in developing, implementing and maintaining on site installation procedures. Also, assist with the development, implementation, maintenance of our custom software applications and researching new platforms before they go live at a customer’s site.
- Assist the team in maintaining installation driver libraries, assist in the creation, storage and application of system images and software resources for all supported platforms, In house and local on-site troubleshooting and repair of computer systems used to run InfoChannel products.
- Assist the team with building and testing systems when at the office.
- Design, develop and maintain field test procedures for all of the various technologies we sell, support and use.
- Assist the help desk as needed when in the office, problem/call ticket entry into Alert software
- Assist in writing and maintaining documentation, self-help, and knowledge base for internal and external (customer) use.
Qualifications & Skill Sets:
- Highly motivated team player who pays attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new material quickly and easily
- Excellent written, oral, social and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well with others and present themselves well on site in front of customers.
- Willing to travel up to 50% (14 days a month out of state / country)
- Current passport / valid driver’s license.
- Able to lift 50 pounds from the floor to head height or higher.
- Capability to clearly and promptly document installation procedures.
- Extensive hardware, software installation and troubleshooting experience.
- Desired certifications: Microsoft MCP, A+, other CompTIA, current or expired teacher’s certificate
- Ability and willingness to complete on site work
- Team player
Must be willing to relocate to Minneapolis, MN.
