Alpha Video Completes Brookings City Council Integration
City Council Chambers receive updated audiovisual system to communicate with residents
The Brookings City Council had been discussing ways to improve upon communicating with its residents for over two years, and contracted Alpha Video to provide a complete audio-visual system that would enable them to broadcast important messaging and create a more effective communication channel. Alpha worked with the City to create a video system that allows them to not only broadcast live council sessions for the public, but also enables them to post information such as weather, an Associated Press news stream, public notices, snow alerts, and much more. In addition, Alpha worked with the Council Chamber to provide a system with improved sound quality and specialized equipment that allows users to make electronic presentations either from a projector or a computer, where all the information can be seen and heard by viewers at home.
